Problem Sets

The problem sets are issued with the aim of giving you enough exercises problems to understand the concepts taught in the lectures better. The solutions are not to be submitted. In case if you face difficulties in solving, you could meet the TAs assigned to you during their office hours. We plan to have a problem set for every 5-6 lectures. More specifically two problem sets each first second and fourth modules. The third module will have four problem sets. The schedule is as follows:

Short Exams

We will have one short exam at the end of each of the themes. These are conducted like in-hall exams, however the purpose of the questions will be to demonstrate the extent of the concepts learned in the class. Each of the short exams contribute only 5% to your overall grade, and is certainly an opportunity for you to make mistakes and learn. So you can expect one or two questions that prompts you to think out of the box!!
